Its been asked more than once by first-time Montane owners so here's how you stow the hood on your Montane Jacket (The Extreme is slightly different as the hood is removable but if you have one of those, you've probably figured that out already!)

Is there any such thing as risk-free rock climbing ?

Indoor climbing does involve reduced risk as the anchors and safety equipment (usually available for hire for a small fee) will be regularly checked. However, there remains the risk of failing to tie in properly, fasten the harness securely or for an absent minded belayer to fail to arrest a fall so so even indoors it is not 100% risk free....

Should I drill 13mm holes to accommodate m10 t nuts for my climbing wall; when I do, the holes seem too big?

You are correct, the offical size of hole for M10 T-nuts is 13mm diameter which leaves a small space around the shaft for ease of fitting, however for a climbing wall a 13mm hole may not be ideal because of the nature of the forces involved.

I want to build a traversing wall in my hallway at home, how many climbing holds will I need ?

Firstly you may need to get some expert advice about attaching climbing holds to your interior wall as it will depend on the wall construction as to which fixing technique to use for a proper secure fitting - screw fit, bolt on, expansion bolts and even resin glues are all posssible solutions.

I measured my feet before ordering climbing shoes using your chart but my toes are tight against the end of the shoe. This is my first pair of rock boots so was wondering if this is normal ?

They should be 'skin tight' and certainly wont feel in any way like normal street shoes so standing around in them or walking round the house as you would to test a standard shoe are not the correct methods to confirm the fit.
