The altimeter arrived yesterday morning and is superb. I've checked it against 3 electronic baro/altimeters as well as local met office adjusted for height difference. It is easily correct to better than 1 mb. The electronics are variously up to ± 4 mb out.

I'm off to the Troodos mountains in Cyprus at the end of the week, all being well, and shall have much pleasure in using it there for weather, for altitude and to calibrate a friends barometer.
