The lightest weather resistant jacket in the world. It fends off light rain and keeps wind chill at bay. The hood can be stowed in the collar so does not act like a sail. Because its not fully waterproof the jacket controls condensation really well. You get a full length zip too to allow you to cool off. The deep drop tail keeps the lower back protected. The large chest pocket is ideal for a map and the stuff sac means you can stow it away for emergencies.
The hood and chest pocket make this a little more useful than simpler jackets.
